FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
RE: ST LOUIS BOAT & SPORTS SHOW
FR: Kwikdrop,LLC. SALES DEPT
Kwikdrop,LLC., of Wentzville, MO announced today that it will unveil it’s newest product at the St. Louis Boats & Sports show. Orville Welker ( President ) said he chose St. Louis due to the fact that not only is the show a long standing tradition in his family, but the St. Louis community as well. Welker Young Industries will be demonstrating the "KwiKDrop ™ " boat pedestal or as many are saying "a new innovative long overdue product". It address’ a very unsafe practice used by many boaters in the USA and abroad not to mention it is far more convenient than a traditional pedestal. Dave Welker (Head of Engineering & Design ) said that from an engineering perspective that they should not even compare it to a traditional pedestal as it does something that a pedestal simply can not do.
Kwikdrop,LLC., has been in the CNC Machine and Manufacturing industry for over 20 years all in the St. Louis Metro area. There main forte thus far has been in Corporate Aviation Field. This will be their first product launched in the Marine/Boating Industry. They will be in booth 1236 of the Edward Jones Dome from Tuesday through Sunday to demo this unique new product. After setting up the display their sales department said it looked as though it was the only truly New product added to the show in years. They will be offering it Direct to the public at Trade Shows until it hits Retail centers Nationwide in Fall of 2004. At Press time it looks as though it will be available through The Springfield Marine Company, a well-respected innovator and Industry leader in the Marine Accessory market. When asked how he came up with the concept, Orville Welker replied, "Out of necessity" As an avid fisherman removing the front boat seat for running or towing has been a problem as long as the sport itself. Most people don’t remove the front seat while driving from one spot to another. Yes, it is dangerous but most people do it. Now they won’t have to. Our new product does not help the problem of Blindspots – it totally eliminates it. We came up with a specialty tool for shortening bolts for the same reason – simply put – we wanted one and nobody made them. ( www.boltbuster.com )
According to the National Marine Manufacturers Association the marine accessory market is a Billion-dollar a year industry. One show-goer asked Mr. Welker the question as to why nobody had solved this safety issue with it being such a Huge market, to which Mr. Welker replied, "Now they won’t have to" all while sporting a grin of a boy that just caught his first fish.
